Rhythm Nation is a great place for our young conservatory family members to start their musical education. In our version of “Intro to Music”, the
emphasis is on understanding the beat, learning to listen and recall various
rhythmic figures, playing as an emsemble, and recognizing simple notation.
Students play on Brazilian and African instruments, and are encouraged to
explore their creative side, develop music reading skills, and learn how to
play with others. A ton of fun, a lot of noise and an absolute favorite!
Saturday String Band
Come learn the joy of playing bluegrass music with others. Reading charts, soloing, backing up, and having an energizing session will be agreat way to start your Saturday night!
